The AKU Men’s Flyrock Mid GTX is a mid-cut fast hiking boot built for technical days where the low Flyrock isn’t enough.
Gore-Tex Most Breathable waterproofing handles sustained wet conditions without impeding airflow on high-output ascents. The Vibram Megagrip + Traction Lug outsole delivers maximum friction on wet rock and fell ground at speed. AKU Dynamic Fit adjusts heel tension to your natural stride — climbing or descending — while the High Cushion High Rebound EVA midsole and Ortholite footbed absorb impact on big days. At 402g, it is 30g more than the Flyrock Gore-Tex low shoe (372g): the weight of the ankle support the mid-cut adds on more committing ground.
