The STAR Backyard Peaslake

We are excited to bring you the first of three STAR Backyard Trail Events.

The first STAR BackYard Trail Running Event this year will take place in the the village of Peaslake with Holmbury St Mary and Shere to follow, dates to be confirmed.

The STAR Backyard is a 3 hour trail running event. It will start at 6.00pm and finish at 9.00pm. You simply need to complete as many 5km laps as you can in the allocated time, it’s as easy as that!

No chip timing, just a number to wear and we will place a band on you wrist to signify each lap completed.

Please be aware that this is a headtorch event so caution will need to be taken when navigating yourself around the course. The route will take you out of the Peaslake Village Hall in a clockwise direction. Through Walking Bottom Car Park followed by a fairly long but gentle 2km ascent will get you near the top of Pitch Hill. From there it’s pretty much downhill all the way back to the start to register your lap.

There is free parking at Walking Bottom Car Park and in and around the village remembering not to block public rights of way.

Winners of both Men’s and Women’s races will receive a prize

The objective is to complete as many 5km circuits as you can in 3 hours, you can run one circuit or as many as you can do in the time allowed.
